Project Engineer

Full-Time

Pay: 45k - 65k Anually

At Development of Central Florida, Inc. (DCFL), our Project Engineers are integral to the successful execution of our construction projects. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on involvement, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll collaborate with project managers, field crews, and clients to coordinate and oversee key project activities. Responsibilities include interpreting plans, managing materials, resolving on-site challenges, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. You’ll gain experience across a variety of infrastructure projects, including utility installations, roadway construction, and stormwater management.

Superintendent

Pay: 75k - 90k Anually

At Development of Central Florida, Inc. (DCFL), Superintendents play a key role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

As a Superintendent, you’ll manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and equipment while ensuring all work adheres to project plans and specifications. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, monitoring progress, maintaining safety compliance and daily reports, and resolving any challenges that arise during construction. Working closely with project managers and clients, you’ll ensure smooth coordination and successful project delivery.

Estimating/Project Engineer - INTERN

Just finished or in school

Part-Time

Pay: $15 - $18 an hour

At Development of Central Florida, Inc. (DCFL), our Estimating/Project Engineer Interns gain invaluable hands-on experience while contributing to the success of our projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in both estimating (75%) and project engineering (25%), providing exposure to the full lifecycle of construction projects.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our estimating team to assist in preparing bids, analyzing project costs, and reviewing plans and specifications. You’ll also gain project engineering experience by supporting field operations, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. This balanced approach will help you build a solid foundation in both preconstruction and project management.

Laborer

This position offers hands-on experience in the field, contributing to the development of Central Florida’s infrastructure.

As a Laborer, you’ll work as part of a team to perform various tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting equipment operators and tradespeople. Responsibilities may include clearing and grading land, installing utilities, and supporting the construction of roadways, curbs, and sidewalks. You’ll be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient worksite.

This position is ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are eager to contribute to meaningful projects. Join DCFL to build your skills and be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality results.

Skilled - Laborer

2 - 5 Year of Experience

Full-Time

Pay: $20 - $30 an hour
