Project Overview:
DCFL is proud to partner with the City of Orlando on the Marks Street and Pasadena Place Drainage Improvements project. This large-scale infrastructure project is designed to enhance the community’s stormwater management capabilities, improve roadway conditions, and upgrade critical utility systems. The project demonstrates DCFL’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions and precision craftsmanship for essential municipal improvements.​​​​
Scope of Work:
This project encompasses a wide range of tasks, including:​​​

Stormwater Management: Installation of over 2,200 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) ranging from 15 to 48 inches in diameter, 100 linear feet of equivalent elliptical RCP (ERCP), and over 25 new inlets and manholes to support efficient drainage.

Sanitary Sewer System: Installation of 1,200 linear feet of new 8-inch sewer lines to improve the area’s wastewater infrastructure.

Water Main Upgrades: Placement of over 1,300 linear feet of new water main, including 2, 6, 8, and 20-inch PVC and ductile iron pipe (DIP), and 1,500 linear feet of raw water main ranging from 16 to 36 inches in diameter.

Electrical Conduits: Installation of over 1,700 linear feet of new 4-inch PVC inner duct for utility use.

Roadway Reconstruction:

Over 300 cubic yards of flowable fill and 100 cubic yards of thermal backfill.

More than 6,000 square yards of Type-B stabilization and 4,500 square yards of crushed concrete base.

Installation of over 1,050 tons of asphaltic concrete (9.5 and 12.5 mix types).

Milling and resurfacing of existing asphalt and removal/replacement of over 500 square yards of historical brick pavers, carefully preserving the community’s heritage.

Curb and Sidewalk Enhancements:

Over 3,600 linear feet of F-curb, 150 linear feet of modified F-curb, and 200 linear feet of D and ribbon curb.

Construction of over 100 square yards of new sidewalks, 550 square yards of driveways, and 100 square yards of ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps.
